BKKA INKINDO

Overview

The Coordinating Agency for Foreign and Affiliated Consulting Firms (BKKA) represents one of the national commitees in the organizational structure of the National Association of Indonesian Consultants (INKINDO). This Commitee is in charge of accomodating, communicating, coordinating and establishing the consultant's professional norms for foreign and affiliated consulting firms.

BKKA is made up of consulting firms whose shares are partly of wholly owned by foreign companies. The branch of representative offices of foreign consulting firms in Indonesia are also members.

BKKA was officialy established on June 24, 1998 and aimed at accomplishing the roles previously undertaken by the Biro Sarana Perusahaan (BSP) under the Ministry of Public Works of the Republic of Indonesia.

INKINDO (National Association of Indonesia Consultants) was established on June 20, 1979. The association is a merged organization of INKINDO, founded on February 10, 1970 and PKTPI founded on October 8, 1971. This merger was aimed at bringing all consulting firms into a single association striving for more effectiveness in developing its efforts to ensure professional enhancement of consulting practices.
